Why can’t anybody say the word ‘definitely’ correctly anymore? It’s always ‘def-in-ett-lay’, or ‘def-in-ate-lay’ on the TV or radio these days. If you absolutely must pronounce every single syllable with enormous emphasis, then at least say it as ‘def-in-it-lay’ - there’s no ‘a’ or ‘e’ sound in the third syllable.
